Gabi has previously worked as an intern with Asthma Foundation NT while training to become an accredited pharmacist and in 2017 she joined the Asthma Foundation NT board of management.
The AFNT staff were happy to be able to welcome Gabi back in 2020 as an Asthma Educator and she brings to the role a wealth of knowledge and understanding of asthma and related conditions as she is a qualified pharmacist. She is originally from Brazil but has called the territory home for the past 15 years.

She is originally from NSW but moved to the territory after visiting and falling in love with the NT and what it has to offer. She managed the Asthma Swim Program while it was running and is actively developing her knowledge and skills in asthma, its management and spirometry and the whole AFNT team were proud of her when she completed her Asthma Educator course through the Alfred Hospital in Victoria. She also delivers asthma education through the program Asthma in Your Mate to kids across the territory and also Asthma Community first aid sessions to various groups and organisations.
Jillian joined the Asthma Foundation NT in 2018 and brings with her an extensive background in administration to help support the AFNT staff and board and is the friendly front face of the Asthma Foundation office.
Prior to becoming the office manager she has been involved with the foundation over the years firstly through the swim program with her kids, helping volunteering at events and was also a one time board member which gives her a unique view of how all aspects of the Asthma Foundation NT runs. She loves helping promote the foundation whether through attending community or networking events and she is always willing to help out where needed.
