Spirometry services are resuming

AFNT are excited to announce we will be resuming our spirometry testing starting Monday 23rd of May 🤩 To maintain a healthy and safe environment for our clients and staff while resuming our service please note and comply to these changes: ✅ Limiting people attending the appointment. ✅ Masks (surgical) must be worn during your appointment - you can bring your own, if not AFNT can provide you with one. ✅ Have had your COVID vaccination (2x doses) and show proof of vaccination upon entry to your appointment. ✅ If you have your own spacer, it is recommended to bring it with you to your appointment. New fee structures since 1st January 2022: 🔹 $30 initial consult fee (includes 12mth membership with AFNT) 🔹 $20 for follow-up appointments 🔹 Seniors/concession card holders receive 10% discount ‼️ Booking is essential, GP referral is not needed to make an appointment but is recommended. Please understand we have a high demand of referrals and waiting list to work through, AFNT team appreciates your patience. Using your inhalers correctly (with a spacer) will help close the gap in asthma care by improving lung function, reducing asthma flare-ups, improving the effectiveness of medication allowing it to get to the lungs which can reduce oral side effects, stopping medication getting into the mouth, throat and stomach. No improvement can be expected if the medication is not going where it needs to 👉 LUNGS. For these reasons, if your PUFFER PUFFS, put a spacer on it.
