Asthma Foundation NT Now Has A New Home in Parap

While we're sad to say goodbye to our home in Woolner, the team is super excited about the opportunities our new and improved space in Parap offers.

Now located at 3 Nylander St, Parap

Along with the new move comes more space, including a dedicated training room and kids area.

That means it's now easier for parents to come and visit us and access advice and education while the kids entertain themselves.

This move is all about helping us do even better in our mission to help Northern Territorians breathe better.

Spirometry services are resuming

AFNT are excited to announce we will be resuming our spirometry testing starting Monday 23rd of May 🤩 To maintain a healthy and safe environment for our clients and staff while resuming our service please note and comply to these changes: ✅ Limiting people attending the appointment. ✅ Masks (surgical) must be worn during your appointment - you can bring your own, if not AFNT can provide you with one. ✅ Have had your COVID vaccination (2x doses) and show proof of vaccination upon entry to your appointment. ✅ If you have your own spacer, it is recommended to bring it with you to your appointment. New fee structures since 1st January 2022: 🔹 $30 initial consult fee (includes 12mth membership with AFNT) 🔹 $20 for follow-up appointments 🔹 Seniors/concession card holders receive 10% discount ‼️ Booking is essential, GP referral is not needed to make an appointment but is recommended. Message from our Patron, Mr Craig O'Halloran

"This week is Asthma Awareness Week and as Patron of the Asthma Foundation NT (AFNT), Mr O’Halloran would like to thank AFNT for their ongoing work in supporting Territorians and their families who experience Asthma and other respiratory conditions. As part of Asthma Awareness Week, Asthma Foundation NT are conducting a survey to see how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the management of chronic respiratory condition/s like Asthma and COPD. If you or a loved one suffers from one of these conditions we encourage you to take a moment to fill out the survey. Your input can help improve services and quality of life for Territorians with these conditions. You can patriciate in the survey by clicking the attached link in the reference section.
